Artist's Description
I actually witnessed this chance encounter on the Galapagos Islands in Ecuador between a pair of nesting Albatross and a Blue-footed booby. This poured watercolor painting was poured using various tropical hues to set off the Booby’s blue beak and feet. What happened afterwards was not dramatic in that the Albatross held their ground and the Booby ended up walking around them.
