This is a young zebra who was surrounded by adults, probably related females, in Ngorongoro Crater, Tanzania. Actually, the herd this youngster was with is depicted in ‘Walking the Line’, another one of my African wildlife series. When zebra are young, their manes are soft and easily blown about by the wind. It’s almost like this young zebra was posing for a photo shoot!
