Description
Zebra walk in lines when they are on the move because they look like a rope from a distance and predators can’t easily pick out the young or aged among them. We saw them do this a lot while in Africa. This line was formed in Ngorongoro Crater, Tanzania. Sometimes they do this with wildebeest. The youngster towards the end of the line is the subject of ‘The Windblown Look’, another painting in my African wildlife series.
