Artist's Description
These colorful poinsettias were on a hillside in Peru outside of Machu Picchu. I decided to take some liberty with the bracts and abstract them a bit. The plant was really a huge bush several feet high and wide with a butterfly on the flower part and the hills behind were lush and inviting. It was fun to see poinsettias in their native habitat!
